Locality announced the appointment of industry expert John Brohel as their new Chief Financial Officer. Brohel brings 30+ years of experience in global financial and strategic planning from his previous roles at AMC Networks and Leftfield Entertainment. In his new role, Brohel will play a crucial role in Locality’s investment in technology, people, and products that solve the needs of advertisers and inventory owners across both streaming advertising and local broadcast. Brohel will report to Ann Hailer, president of broadcast, and Keith Kazerman, president of streaming.

Uberall appointed Grant Coleman as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this new role, Coleman will lead the global location marketing company’s revenue generation efforts, driving growth and strengthening customer and partner relationships. With a wealth of sales leadership expertise, his deep industry knowledge, customer-centric mindset and proven experience captaining teams and driving revenue growth from his time at SAP, Emarsys and most recently MessageBird, Coleman is poised to help Uberall execute an ambitious sales and go-to-market strategy. Stéphanie Génin was also recently promoted from SVP Marketing to Uberall’s inaugural CMO.

Shae Mirran recently joined Yext as Vice President of Enterprise Sales, prior to this, he was in a role with the same title at Uberall, Salesforce and Blackberry/Cylance. Before this, Sir Shae was a Digital Transformation Sales Leader at Sprinklr and held Sales Director roles at Microsoft, Deloitte, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM. With almost 30 years of sales experience, strong connections and two beautiful pups by his side, Mirran will forge some great partnerships for Yext while swapping coasts around seasons.

Software supply chain management company Sonatype brought on Megan Lueders as its global chief marketing officer to lead the company through its next maturation phase. Lueders joins at a pivotal time for the booming $188.3 billion information security and risk management market, in which the company is primed to play a huge role. With ties to the Open Source Software Foundation (OpenSSF), Sonatype has been a key member in global cybersecurity discussions in the US and EMEA, including advising on the most recent White House cybersecurity directives. Lueders’s role is critical to amplifying the company’s efforts, where she will pull on over 20 years of enterprise tech experience in senior marketing roles at startups and public companies alike. She also kind of a big deal in Austin: She’s on the BBA Advisory Board at The University of Texas, where she also teaches business classes. She spoke at McCombs Fall 2020 Commencement. She’s also an active supporter of Austin-area non-profits, where she chairs Texas 4000, Girlstart, and YMCA of Austin.

The one and only Ced Simpson just started a new position as VP of Business Development at Duda. Simpson comes with over twenty-five years of international experience in business development, strategic partnership, product, and GTM experience providing SaaS website, local search marketing, and productivity solutions to SMB’s & franchise brands around the world. Prior to joining Duda, Simpson was Director, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships at H&R Block, VP of Global Strategic Partnerships at Wix, VP & General Manager at ConvergenSEE, Strategic Advisor, Head of Global Sales & Business Development at DigitalMaas and most notably for his time spent at Matchcraft as their VP of Global Business Development. Excited to see what is next for him as he helps to take Duda to the next level.

Kevin Chen joined Moz as their Director of Channel Development recently bringing a proven track record of over 20 years success with a unique blend of skills drawn from a diverse background of experiences; from entrepreneurial, technology start-ups, to fortune, pro sports and entertainment properties which will no doubt take Moz to the next level. I had the joy of working alongside Chen at Uberall for many years where he held multiple Director roles. Prior to this, Chen was Sr. Account Executive at Recurly, Enterprise Business Development at Birst and Corporate Partnerships Sales Executive at the San Jose Sharks, Sacramento Kings and for Bunchball.

Oscar Sousa-Marques just joined Wix as their newest Director of Strategic Sales, Sousa-Marques has also concurrently been the President of ALSMA (Asian Local Search and Media Association) for the last 15 years. Prior to joining Wix, he’s been a Chairman for  Thadeus London and Senior Director, Partner Sales for Yext, and prior to that was CEO for InMedia Asia for over a decade and the CEO of Yellow Pages publisher Directel Macau for over 17 years..

Megan McKenzie is excited as she recently joined DevHub as their Director of Strategic Accounts. She first met the co-founders, Mark Michael and Daniel Rust at a conference in Seattle four years ago and this set the tone for her future. Prior to joining DevHub, McKenzie was the Director of Enterprise Sales & Account Executive at CrowdContent for a little over 6 years where she managed teams (Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, SDR) to sell SEO-friendly content creation to enterprise clients and maintain current clients, growing ARR dramatically for the company.

Rich Hargrave became Senior Director of Channel Sales at Vcita. In this role he’ll be responsible for the global partner and channel sales team’s growth and success. Specifically, helping agencies and SMB organizations leverage vcita’s new “inTandem” partner platform. Prior to this, Hargrave was an Enterprise Sales Director at Reputation.com, where he managed one of the largest portfolios of business in their U.S. market – working with new and existing $1b+ national and multi-location brands. Prior to this, Hargrave held similar roles at Hearst, Yelp, Web.com and hibu to name a few. Great job Rich!
