Microsoft Veteran Joins Blis

Blis announced the appointment of Diane Perlman as Chief Marketing Officer to oversee the company’s global marketing strategy. Perlman comes to Blis after having spent the last nine months as Interim CMO at video ad tech company Unruly. Previously, Perlman led UK marketing communications for Windows Phone at Microsoft and later created and ran the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator, graduating nearly 40 startups. She was also the CMO at startup accelerator MassChallenge. Blis has raised over $27M in funding since its founding in 2004.

New York Magazine Hires Former Conde Nast Executive

Jeremy Fass will take on a new role at New York Media as Head of Programmatic Revenue. Fass spent over a year and a half at Conde Nast in Director roles before joining New York Media. Prior to Conde Nast, he was Client Partner for Publisher Solutions at Facebook and Director of Publisher Development Sales at PubMatic.

Sales Director Appointed at TruMeasure

TruMeasure has named Andrew McFadden as Director of Sales and Marketing. Most recently, he was Director of Business Development at OwnLocal. Over the past 10 years, McFadden has advised several technology startups with product market fit and helped secure local media clients. He has published several articles for the International News Media Association (INMA) and the News Media Alliance (formerly the Newspaper Association of America) on the intersection of audience and advertising.

Indeed Business Exec Joins Adzuna

Christopher Gamble, formerly a senior sales leader at Indeed, has joined Adzuna as Vice President of Sales for North America. Gamble’s 25 years of experience include being Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Medical Staffing Network Healthcare and Head of Global Sales and Commercial Operations at GE. The London-based company has raised over $17M in capital.

SiteSwan Brings On Product Evangelist

Jim Haigh has joined website building company SiteSwan as Product Evangelist. Haigh brings years of non-profit and publishing experience to the company. He served in various role at the Mid-Atantic Community Papers Association, Association of Free Community Papers, and Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce.
