CMO Hire at Advice Local
Jonathan Ball has joined Advice Local as Chief Marketing Officer. Ball has over 18 years of marketing and content experience on both the agency and client sides. Before joining Advice Local, Ball served as Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Provasi Capital Partners.
McClatchy Exec Joins Vendasta
John Jordan has joined Vendasta as EVP of Partner Development after several years at McClatchy. Jordan led McClatchy’s digital revenue efforts as Director of Digital Revenue Development for six years. Vendasta has raised CA$15.3m in venture capital since its founding in 2008.
TripleLift Hiring Spree
Advertising technology company TripleLift has made three leadership hires. Jacqueline Quantrell joined the company as Global Chief Revenue officer. Quantrell was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales at Rubicon. Jason Kleinman was appointed to General Manager of Branded Content. Before joining TripleLift, Kleinman was Vice President of Brand Solutions and Global Ad Products at Hearst. Tom Anderson was hired as General Manager of Mobile. Prior to TripleLift, Anderson was Head of Programmatic and Business Strategy at Publishers Clearing House.
UK Hire for Vendasta
Vendasta is expanding its international presence with the hire of UK-based Paul Plant as Director of International Partner Development. Paul most recently ran a boutique consulting firm and is on the board of SIINDA. Prior to joining Vendasta, Paul spent 20+ years at Yell (now known as hibu) as a part of the founding leadership team.
CrowdHere Acquired
Digital Remedy has acquired CrowdHere, a curated collective of new media filmmakers and creative futurists. Through the acquisition, CrowdHere CEO Nick Pahade has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer and President of Digital Remedy. Before founding CrowdHere, Pahade held several leadership roles at Vizy, Initiative, and Traffiq.
