RetailNext Adds CorpDev Heavyweight
Kindra Tatarsky joins RetailNext as Head of Corporate Development. This was a strategic hire since RetailNext secured $125mm in funding last Spring and is in high growth mode. Most recently, Tatarsky was SVP of Corporate Development at Nielsen.
LivingSocial Hires Head of Product
Nick Macey has joined LivingSocial as SVP and Head of Product. The hire comes at an important time for the company as its new CEO attempts to build new revenue streams for the struggling business. Macey, a product lover, was the Chief Product Officer at Rosetta Stone.
New VP of Research at Borrell Associates
Former Director of Research Operations, Corey Elliott, was recently promoted to VP of Research & Analysis at Borrell Associates. Elliott’s research and market analysis focuses on digital marketing spends. As more organizations implement digital products, it is key for research firms like Borrell Associates to to adapt and offer services based around the every changing and growing digital space.
GrubHub Veteran Promoted to VP of Growth Marketing
Food delivery and marketing veteran Steven Young has advanced to VP of Growth Marketing for the GrubHub / Seamless food delivery juggernaut. Young has spent the past five years in several marketing roles at GrubHub / Seamless.
adsquare Snatches New Partnership Lead from LAPLACEMEDIA
Vincent Tessier joins adsquare as VP of Demand Partnerships. Before joining adsquare, Tessier was head of mobile at LAPLACEMEDIA. Tessier will be responsible for demand in EMEA markets. adsquare, which has raised over $5.7mm in venture funding, is live in 7 countries with teams in Paris, London & Berlin.
Revmob Appoints Co-CEO
Revmob, a mobile ad platform for global publishers, developers and advertisers, brought on Ferreira Marcelo as Co-CEO to bring a broad range of expertise and experience to the fast growing company. Marcelo hails from helloFood Brasil where he was founder and CEO.
Ebay Names CMO Following PayPal SPlit
Retail giant Ebay, has hired the former CEO of ad agency Moxie, Suzy Deering, to be its chief marketing officer in North America. After splitting with PayPal last month, the online marketplace is looking to rebrand, and Deering, who also previously served as VP of advertising at Home Depot, will be taking on that task.
