Black Friday has traditionally been regarded as the biggest retail shopping day of the year. But recently, we have seen Cyber Monday gain increased popularity as consumers score deals from the comfort of their own homes. In fact, Cyber Monday 2017 saw the single largest online shopping day in U.S. history according to CNBC, when digital transactions reached a record $6.59 billion.

This shift can be attributed to the ease and speed of online shopping. Today’s consumers, with millennials at the helm, prefer the convenience of having deals available at their fingertips versus fighting traffic and waiting in long lines at crowded retail stores.

Smartphones are gaining momentum as the preferred platform for Cyber Monday shoppers. Consumers have their smartphones with them everywhere they go, including work, making it essential for retailers to have a winning mobile marketing strategy.

Cyber Monday 2018 is expected to drive record-breaking sales. Don’t get left behind—use the infographic below as a tool to help you gain your slice of the $7B Cyber Monday pie.
