Acquisio Exec Moves on to Montreal Incubator
0bce910Seasoned product executive Sebastien Provencher has left Acquisio after just over a year as VP of product management to join Element AI as a program director. Element AI launches and incubates advanced AI-First solutions in partnership with large corporations. Provencher will help with product development for new companies going through the accelerator. He will also act as an entrepreneur-in-residence and become CEO of a portfolio company. Before Acquisio, Provencher had worked in various leadership roles in the digital and SaaS space at companies including YPG, HomeAdvisor and Needium.

Local Industry Vet Joins Endurance International
After three years at BIA/Kelsey, Abid Chaudhry is joining Endurance International Group as senior director of platform strategy. Endurance International Group is a publicly traded company that owns HostGator and Constant Contact. Chaudhry is a veteran in the hyperlocal arena with years of experience at companies such as Talus Labs, AT&T, and 411.ca.

New CEO at Belly
Founder Logan LaHive has stepped down as CEO of Chicago-based Belly and COO Daniel Gloede is now taking the reins. Gloede has been with the company for 4.5 years in finance and operations, and LaHive calls him “uniquely & overly qualified for the job.” LaHive founded the company in 2011 after stints at RedBox and Lightbank.

Criteo Brings on New EVP of Global Supply and Business Development
Criteo has appointed former Persio CEO Marc Grabowski to a newly created role where he will be responsible for helping publishers navigate a dynamic market landscape that is being reshaped by initiatives like header bidding and native advertising. Grabowski previously served had along stint at Yahoo culminating at VP of media sales, and also did a stint as COO of Nanigans.

Local Marketing Leader Joins Canadian Export Group
Marc-Andre Sinclair has joined Export Development Canada as Director of Digital Marketing, Platform & Content. Sinclair left Acquisio — where he was Vice President of Marketing — after working at the company for about a year. Before Acquisio, he was the Director of Local Content/Editor-in-Chief at YPG. Overall, Sinclair worked at Yellow Pages from 2008 to 2015.

Tru Measure’s New General Manager
Tru Measure, McClatchy’s advertising analytics and technology subsidiary, has hired John Hoeft as General Manager to replace departing General Manager & Founder Charity Huff. Prior to Tru Measure, Hoeft was the Associate Vice President of Digital at the Star Tribune. He started his digital and publishing career at the Star Tribune in 1994 then moved on to other roles with Media News Group, Novus Media, Inc. and Patch.com.

European Retail Analytics Firm Hire US Leader
European retail analytics solutions startup Walkbase, has hired Kevin Hunter as its President of the Americas. Walkbase has raised over $4m in venture capital since its 2010 founding. Prior to joining Walkbase, Hunter served as President of inMarket Media. Before that, he co-founded and was COO of Gimbal, Inc and held leadership roles at Qualcomm Retail Solutions.

Sales Hire At Delaware Digital Firm
eZanga, the full-service digital marketing firm that specializes in paid search advertising, has hired Anthony Bonacci as Director of Sales. eZanga was launched in 2003 and continues to sell an array of digital solutions such as ad fraud protection. Before joining eZanga, Bonacci was Chief Operating Officer at Education, Inc for over a year. Prior to Education, Inc, he was the Operations and Marketing Officer at Gersh Education and Director of Rochester Colleges/ NYS Marketing Director at Bryant & Stratton College.
