Every two weeks, Kelly Benish — who knows practically everyone in local — covers some of the latest job changes taking place in this dynamic industry. (Plus, scroll down for jobs on offer now.)

Funding and Board Selection – Gravy
Gravy, a data analytics and marketing segmentation provider recently announced the close of its $7.6 million Series A financing.  The round included MetTel, Gannett and some key existing investors. In addition to the financing round, it was announced that President of Gannett U.S. Community Publishing Robert Dickey will join Gravy’s board of directors. In addition to Dickey, Steven Tunney, EVP of planning and strategy at MetTel is joining the Gravy-train.

Joe Sullivan – Uber
Uber recently picked up former Facebook chief security officer Joe Sullivan to be its first chief security officer. Sullivan, who has been with Facebook for over half of the social network’s life, is being charged with improving safety measures for drivers and passengers as well as overseeing the security of Uber’s driver data. Prior to Facebook, Sullivan was head of security at PayPal/eBay and at the assistant U.S. attorney. Talk about a go-getter!

Sean Barkulis – ShopKeep
Sean Barkulis recently started with ShopKeep as their director of business development and partnerships. At ShopKeep he will focus on building new relationships for the iPad-capable POS system for bars, restaurants and retail stores. Prior to this, Sean was an early stage startup consultant of business development for the last couple of years, which he will still continue to do. His unique experience in consulting with over five startups in the past will surely give ShopKeep a leg up in the game. Congrats Sean!

Also on the move: David Karabag was recently promoted at Centro from their director of media services and program development to their senior director of onboarding solutions.…Corey Quinn was recently brought on by Scorpion Design as their CMO (you may remember him from when he worked at The Search Agency)… Arian Ashworth was recently promoted at LiveIntent from focusing on business development to platform brand sales. Alain Wahba celebrates 20 years as the CEO and founder of Infobel, congrats Alain!
