Former GroundTruth CMO Joins SOCi
Monica Ho, former Chief Marketing Officer at GroundTruth, took a new role at SOCi as CMO. Ho left GroundTruth after six years in multiple roles at GroundTruth, formerly known as xAd. SOCi was started in 2012. The company brings big-brand social media campaign and promotion capabilities to small businesses and their service providers. The company has raised over $12m in venture financing.
Executive Shakeup at Foursquare
Foursquare’s President, Steven Rosenblatt, will be stepping into a new advisory role. He’ll be pursuing his dream of launching his own company, working with early-stage startups across various industries. Rosenblatt started at Foursquare as Chief Revenue Officer in 2012 and was promoted to president in 2016. The location intelligence company was founded in 2009 and has raised over $200m in venture capital.
Two Internal Promotions at BrandMuscle
Paul Elliott has been promoted to president, consumer brands, at BrandMuscle, assuming responsibility for client service teams in the Cleveland, Kansas City, and Austin offices. Elliott joined BrandMuscle in 2016 as Chief Digital Officer. Additionally, Raymond Trantina — who joined the company in 2004 — has been promoted to President, wine, spirits and wholesale division. He will lead operations for that division out of BrandMuscle’s Chicago office.
Managing Editor Promotion at Street Fight
Joe Zappa, who has been editing Street Fight’s daily newsfeed for the past two years, has been promoted to managing editor. In addition to continuing his work on Street Fight Daily, Joe now takes over responsibility for the editorial direction of Street Fight’s daily content, and will assign and edit the original stories and columns appearing on the site. Interbrand Exec Changes After Newly Appointed CEO
Several executive changes have occurred at Interbrand, affecting the roles of CEO, Global Chief Growth Officer, and Chief Growth Officer of North America. Charles Trevail was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January. Prior to Interbrand, Trevail was CEO of C Space. Gonzalo Brujó was internally promoted to Global Chief Growth Officer. Brujó was promoted from CEO of LATAM and EMEA of Interbrand to spearhead all global growth of the company. Hermann Behrens was selected as Interbrand’s Chief Growth Officer of North America. Behrens was CEO of North America for FITCH before joining the company. Interbrand was started in 1974 and has a network of 33 offices in 27 countries.
Visto Adds Sales Leader To Team
Steve Moynihan has joined Visto as Senior Vice President of Platform Sales. Visto is a technology company dedicated to bringing transparency, interoperability, and accountability to programmatic advertising. The company has raised over $120m in financing. Moynihan was Vice President of Enterprise Sales at OneSpot and Regional Vice President at RichRelevance.
New Chief Exec at MediaCom
MediaCom Australia has promoted Chief Operating Officer Willie Pang to CEO. He will succeed current boss Sean Seamer. Pang joined MediaCom in 2015 as Chief Digital Officer. MediaCom is owned by digital media giant GroupM.
