Temasek Holdings led the Series B round, Reuters reported. Rokid makes AI-powered devices that have already graced such global stages as CES, and the company has offices in both China and San Francisco. The money will help Rokid grow as it looks to compete with tech giants also looking to dominate the smart-device market.

Tuesday, Jan 23: Unravel Data Raises $15 Million for Comprehensive Data Management
GGV Capital led the Series B round, NewsCenter.io reported. Unravel bills itself as a full-stack data management tool that, unlike its competitors, can handle every aspect of business data management. The company will use its new funding to boost its sales and marketing teams.

Thursday, Jan 25: Snowflake Computing Rakes In $263 Million for Data Warehouse Built for Cloud
Iconiq Capital, Altimiter Capital, and Sequoia Capital led the round, VentureBeat reported. Snowflake Computing is a big-data solution that allows enterprises to process and analyze huge amounts of data, but it stands apart from competitors in that it was built specifically for the age of cloud computing. Snowflake will put the funds toward international growth, expanding its sales and marketing staff abroad.

Monday, Jan 29: ContentSquare Secures $42 Million to Help E-Commerce Companies with Analytics
US VC firm Canaan and Highland Europe were among investors in the Series B round, AdExchanger reported. ContentSquare provides digital retailers with cutting-edge analytics so that they can evaluate their approaches and best serve customers. The cash will support ongoing efforts to provide a top-notch, AI-backed solution.

Wednesday, Jan 31: Trifacta Snaps Up $48 Million for Big-Data Management
Google, Ericsson, Accel, and others participated in the Series D round, TechCrunch reported. Trifacta provides a machine-learning-based solution that helps enterprises sort through massive amounts of data and act on them. Trifacta will build out its platform and expand its reach across the globe.

Thursday, Feb 1: Uberall Scores $25 Million for Location-Based Brand Marketing
HPE Growth Capital led the Series B round, Tech EU reported. Uberall offers a location-based digital marketing solution for multi-location brands. Uberall will use the funding to conquer markets internationally and further develop its product.

Thursday, Feb 1: Prodigy Picks Up $5.4 Million for Auto Dealership Sales Solution
8VC, Battery Ventures, SV Angel and CrunchFund provided the seed funding, TechCrunch reported. Prodigy’s auto sales solution is accessible to users researching potential purchases online as well as in-store vendors. The technology aims to close the online-offline loop and create a seamless car-buying experience. The funds will help Prodigy grow as it seeks clients.
