Kristy Stromberg has left her post at Simply Hired to join Shopkick as Chief Marketing Officer. Stromberg was most recently the SVP of Marketing at Simply Hired for almost three years. The industry veteran worked for Intuit in many different capacities for over a decade. Shopkick was acquired in 2014 by SK Planet for $200 million. Stromberg will be the company’s first CMO and will help drive revenue for the mobile shopping app and its established client base which includes P&G, Unilever, Mondelez, Colgate, Revlon, Disney, Levi’s and HP.

New SVP of People and Culture at OpenTable
Scott Day, the former Head of Talent Strategy & Operations at Airbnb, will lead OpenTable’s people strategy globally as SVP of People and Culture. Prior to OpenTable and Airbnb, Day served as a senior HR business partner at companies such as PayPal, StubHub and Yahoo. The company was acquired by Priceline ($66.4b market cap) in 2014 for $2.6b.

Verve CEO Replaced By Founder
Nada Stirratt has left her post as CEO of Verve. Founder and Chief Innovation Officer Tom Kenney will assume the role in the near-term. Stirratt took the reins of the company in April 2015 and led the company’s rapid growth and hiring initiatives. Verve has raised $66m in venture capital including a recent raise in June 2016 of $30m.

LMA Hires Strategy Exec
The Local Media Association has hired Jed Williams to be its new Chief Innovation Officer. Williams had spent the previous year and a half as VP of Business Development and Strategy at Vendasta. Before Vendasta, Williams worked in business development and strategy positions at Main Street Hub and BIA/Kelsey.

Propel Marketing Promotes Internal CTO
Propel Marketing announced that it has appointed Max Faingezicht as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Propel, Faingezicht was the co-founder and CEO of ThriveHive, which was acquired by the company in March 2016. ThriveHive had raised around $4.5m in venture capital and operated for close to five years before being sold to Propel for $11m.

Yext Appoints Two to Board of Directors
Marketo co-founder and former CEO, Phil Fernandez, has joined Yext’s Board of Directors. Fernandez started Marketo in 2006, raised $108.4M in venture funding, and took the company public in 2013. Meanwhile, Jim Steele, the President and Chief Revenue Officer of InsideSales.com, has also joined Yext’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining InsideSales, Steele served at Salesforce for 12 years as Chief Customer Officer and President of Worldwide Sales and Operations.

CFO Hire At DialogTech
Bob Burns has joined DialogTech as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to DialogTech, Burns was VP of Finance & Control at HERE. Before HERE, Burns was in several positions over eight years at NAVTEQ.

Senior Leadership Hire At PulsePoint
PulsePoint has hired Chris Neuner as SVP & GM of Digital Health Solutions. Prior to PulsePoint, Neuner was Chief Revenue Officer at QualityHealth. Prior to QualityHealth, he founded Greater Than One, an agency which provided interactive marketing services to health clients.
