Openings and New Hires at Cheetah Digital, Dstillery, Infogroup

Every two or three weeks, Street Fight rounds up some of the latest hires and new openings in the hyperlocal marketing, tech, and media industries. 

New Executive Team at Infogroup

Andrew Bloom was hired as President of Enterprise Data Solutions at Infogroup. Bloom brings 20 years of global experience in high-growth public and startup companies in the digital content, advertising, data, and technology sectors. Prior to Infogroup, Bloom held leadership roles at Sizmek and Spot Runner.

Tony Marlow was hired as Chief Marketing Officer at Infogroup. Marlow will lead all aspects of Infogroup’s marketing strategy, brand development, and communications. Before joining Infogroup, Marlow was VP of B2B Marketing & Insights at Oath and Vice President of Field Marketing at Yahoo.

Tim Smith was hired as General Manager of Digital Services at Yes Lifecycle Marketing. Smith will support the company’s focus on delivering end-to-end integrated digital solutions and services across all marketing and advertising channels. Smith joins Infogroup after serving as Managing Director at AppsFlyer and in leadership roles at Rocket Fuel Inc.

Jim Sturm was hired as President of Yes Lifecycle Marketing. As President, Sturm will lead the company toward executing on its vision and digital mission. Sturm was most recently Member of the Board at Infogroup and CEO and President of Brierley + Partners.

Thomas Zawacki was hired as Chief Digital Officer of Infogroup. With over 25 years of experience in AI, digital marketing, and CRM, Zawacki will lead the development, planning, and execution of the company’s digital strategy through new product development and sales enablement programs. Zawacki was most recently Senior Vice President of Strategy at Sizmek and Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Innovation at Rocket Fuel Inc.

Cheetah Digital Executive Appointments

Michael Wasyluka was appointed Chief Revenue Officer. As CRO, Wasyluka will oversee all new and existing business sales and solutions consulting. He boasts more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations. Prior to joining Cheetah Digital, he was the CEO at Simply Measured, EVP at Monetate, and SVP of Enterprise Sales at Salesforce.

Michelle Curless has been appointed EVP, Client Experience and Transformation. Curless has more than 20 years of experience in customer strategy and organizational transformation. Before joining Cheetah Digital, Michelle was the Senior Vice President of Client Success and Services at Monetate, Inc.

Maurice Brunt was appointed SVP of Existing Business and Global Client Success Practice Lead. Burnt has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing technology and most recently served as the Vice President of Customer Success at Oracle.

Shannon Bradley was appointed Senior Vice President of Global Support. Bradley boasts more than 20 years of experience in customer support, and she most recently served as Vice President of Client Health at Octiv and Vice President of Global Support at Salesforce.

Jill Knesek was appointed Chief Security Officer. Knesek brings more than 20 years of experience in cyber security to her role, previously working as a Special Agent for the FBI assigned to the Cyber Crime Squad. She also served as CSO for Mattel and BT Global Services.

CEO Appointment at Dstillery

Dstillery has appointed Michael Beebe as Chief Executive Officer. Beebe joined Dstillery in May 2017 as Chief Financial Officer, and was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer in December 2017. Prior to that, he spent over 20 years in the investment management industry as an analyst and portfolio manager. Beebe began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent eight years as an analyst covering the ad agency holding companies, in addition to other traditional and new media companies. Dstillery has raised over $57m in capital.

Former ClearSlide CEO Joins New Firm

Dustin Grosse has joined Nintex as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. Grosse brings more than 25 years of technology management, strategy, and marketing experience from previous leadership roles with Microsoft, DocuSign, McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, and other companies. Grosse was most recently the CEO of ClearSlide.
