Thursday, December 8: Breather Locks Down $40 Million for Workplace Rental Platform
Menlo Ventures led the Series C round, New York Business Journal reported. Breather provides a digital platform for companies looking to rent out office spaces on short notice. The company will use its new funding to grow its staff and expand geographically.

Thursday, December 8: Movinga Rakes In $18.25 Million for Home Removal Platform
Earlybird Venture Capital and Global Founders Capital led the Series C round. Movinga will use the funding to boost its technological capabilities and the overall quality of its product, according to Red Herring.

Thursday, December 8: Nectar Lands $4.5 Milion to Help Retailers Manage Alcohol Inventories
Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale and other angel investors provided the seed funding, TechCrunch reported. Through a mix of hardware and software, Nectar offers an inventory management solution that will help retailers record real-time data on their alcohol inventories. 

Thursday, December 8: Thanx Reins In $17.1 Million for Customer Loyalty Solution
Icon Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Javelin Venture Partners led the round, Local Onliner reported. The series B round will help Thanx, which offers a card-linked loyalty program, to triple the size of its sales and engineering staff.

Monday, December 12: Mojio Scores $7 Million More for Connected Car Platform
Deutsche Telekom, Relay Ventures, Kensington Capital and others contributed funding, TechCrunch reported. Mojio will use the funding to develop its product; it will be collaborating with the Alexa Fund, lending the digital assistant its connected car data.

Tuesday, December 13: JumpCrew Picks Up $3.3 Million for SMB Social Marketing Platform
JumpCrew has launched a social marketing platform called JumpSocial that aims to help SMBs analyze their social media presences and boost social marketing strategies, according to Forbes. The seed funding will assist JumpCrew as it aims to make JumpSocial the go-to tool for local businesses looking to run sharp social campaigns.

Wednesday, December 14: Splash Secures $7 Million for Event Marketing
Ascent Venture Partners led the Series B round, the Wall Street Journal reported. Splash helps businesses generate revenue and market themselves through digital event planning tools.
