Monday, October 10: FlyPay Snags £3.5 Million from Just Eat for Restaurant Tech Solutions
The funding lays the groundwork for a strategic partnership between Just Eat and FlyPay, which will help the delivery service integrate its various tech solutions and provide its users with “in-restaurant experiences,” Tech.London reported.

Tuesday, October 11: HomeMe Hauls In $3.2 Million to Connect Renters and Landlords
The investment marks HomeMe’s first round of financing. Chief Executive Mark Douglas told TechCrunch his company would use the capital to reach new markets beyond the several Texas cities in which it currently operates.

Tuesday, October 11: Everwise Secures $16 million for Digital Professional Mentoring Network
Sequoia Capital led the Series B round, VentureBeat reported. Everwise is a software-as-a-service deal that puts professionals looking for mentors in touch with potential matches through predictive technology. With its new capital, Everwise will bolster its marketing efforts, grow its staff and sharpen its platform.

Tuesday, October 11: ActiveCampaign Bags $20 million for Data-Driven Marketing Platform
Silversmith Capital Partners led the round, according to a press release. ActiveCampaign specializes in providing marketing and sales solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses. The company will put its funding toward to develop its product and spur innovation.

Wednesday, October 12: Mobile Data Aggregator mParticle Locks Down $17.5 Million
Bain Capital Ventures led the Series B round, AdExchanger reported. mParticle, which aims to make a slew of data sets actionable by integrating them onto a single platform, plans to use the funding to grow its engineering and sales staffs.

Thursday, October 13: PlaceIQ Picks Up Fresh Cash from Alibaba Group
PlaceIQ, a location-based audience and insights platform, scored the funding in the wake of a $25 million Series D, Street Fight reported. The new funds will help PlaceIQ expand its operations around the globe, starting with China, where Alibaba is based. PlaceIQ did not specify the exact value of the investment.

Tuesday, October 18: Zumper Rakes In $17.6 Million to Boost Apartment Search Platform
Zumper, which fields millions of monthly searches in the United States and Canada from users looking to find and rent out apartments, plans to use its latest round to upgrade its technology and expand its services. Breyer Capital and Foxhaven Asset Management led the round, TechCrunch reported.

Wednesday, October 19: Metamarkets Scores $14 Million for Analytics Software
Wellington Financial and City National Bank led the round. Metamarkets helps “programmatic marketplaces” such as Twitter collect and break down data on their sites’ activity, AdExchanger reported. Going forward, Metamarkets plans to renegotiate contracts with its cloud infrastructure partners, as it currently “spends more on [its] infrastructure than on [its] people,” co-founder and CEO Mike Driscoll told AdExchanger.
