Call Intelligence Company Hires Salesforce Exec
Invoca has hired Gregg Johnson as its new CEO. Johnson had spent nine years at Salesforce and was most recently the SVP of Product Management at the company. Invoca raised a $30m Series D round in Spring 2016 and has raised over $60m in venture capital. A release said Johnson is planning to “accelerate Invoca’s mission to help companies drive higher revenue and engagement by bringing phone calls and voice conversations into the digital customer journey.”
Publishing Vet Merrill Brown Joins Board of NeighborhoodX
Veteran media executive and journalist Merrill Brown has joined the board of real estate research and analytics firm NeighborhoodX. He previously launched MSNBC.com where he served as Senior Vice President and as founding Editor-in-Chief. NeighborhoodX is a real estate research and analytics site focused on neighborhood-level information and reporting.
StructuredWeb Brings on New Leader
StructuredWeb has brought on Zeev Lotan to be the company’s new Vice President of Services and Customer Success. Before joining the company, Lotan was Director of Professional Services at Qognify. Prior to his work with Qognify, Lotan headed SKY I.T Group’s Professional & Consulting Services teams as VP of Professional Services. The 18 year old company is based in NYC and raised $2m in venture capital in 2016.
Former IAC Executive Joins Comcast Ventures
Comcast Ventures, the venture capital arm of Comcast Corporation, has hired Dinesh Moorjani as Managing Director. Prior to joining Comcast Ventures, Moorjani served as Executive-in-Residence at Warburg Pincus and co-founded Tinder while at IAC.
CLO Hired at Cars.com
Jim Rogers has joined Cars.com as the company’s Chief Legal Officer. Rogers most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Orbitz Worldwide.
