Momentfeed Hires Industry Veteran
Santa Monica-based, MomentFeed, has hired seasoned operator Carey Bettencourt as Chief Client Officer. Bettencourt will oversee MomentFeed’s client success organization. Before joining MomentFeed, she was the founder and managing partner of consulting firm Propelus. Prior to that, Bettencourt was SVP of Customer Solutions at Accruent and also held leadership roles with firms including Oracle, ChannelPoint (now Trizetto), and J.D. Edwards. MomentFeed has raised over $11m in venture capital to date.
Payments Exec Joins Bango To Develop US Partnerships
Robert Payne has joined UK-based firm Bango as Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships out of their Silicon Valley office. Bango, which went public in 2005, is a leader in the mobile payments space. Prior to Bango, Payne was the Chief Financial Officer of Danal and held various finance roles at boku.
Small Biz Website Promotes Managing Editor
Fit Small Business, a website that provides “how-to” articles for small businesses, has promoted Priyanka Prakash to Managing Editor. Before joining the company, Prakash was General Counsel at Summon and an attorney at Kosnoff Fasy.
