YP Names New CEO
Digital marketing veteran Jared Rowe is joining YP as CEO beginning September 1. He comes to YP from Cox Enterprises where he spent six years and most recently served as President of Cox Automotive Media Solutions Group. Before Cox, Rowe led initiatives at Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book, and Dealer.com.
New COO At RetailNext
RetailNext has brought on David Tognotti asthe company’s new COO. The San Jose based startup has raised $184 million in venture funding to enable retailers to collect, analyze, and visualize data about in-store customer engagement. Tognotti most recently was COO of 3D Robotics. Before 3D Robotics he spent 13 years as general counsel for Monster Inc.
TigerPistol Brings On Growth Lead
Melissa Bryan has joined TigerPistol as SVP of Growth. The five-year-old Austin-based company has raised over $5m in venture capital and is looking to expedite revenue growth. Before joining TigerPistol, Bryan was VP of Strategic Partnerships at Web.com and Director of Product at Yodle.
Cue Connect Hires Veteran Operator
Nick Abramovich has joined Cue Connect as chief operating officer. Prior to joining Cue Connect, Abramovich served as the SVP of corporate development at Quadrant 4 System Corporation (QFOR), following the company’s acquisition of DialedIN, where he served as CEO. Abramovich was also EVP at Definition 6 following its acquisition of Synaptic Digital, where he also served as President and CEO.
Yodle Exec Joins Media And Tech Provider Intersection
Yodle’s SVP of Marketing Dafna Sarnoff has left her post to join Intersection as CMO. This move does not come as a surprise since Web.com recently acquired Yodle. Before Intersection and Yodle, Sarnoff was a vice president at Wolters Kluwer and vice president at American Express.
InfoGroup Hires Digital Agency Lead
Data and marketing company InfoGroup has brought on Melissa Kline as Director of Digital Services for its full-service agency focused on small and mid-size businesses. Most recently, Kline was an account manager at Yahoo. Prior to Yahoo, she served in sales leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment Corporation and Hotel Deco XV Omaha.
Bridg Hires Yahoo Partner Manager
After close to five years at Yahoo as Senior Partner Manager for SMB Partner Development, Joe Nathan has joined Silicon Beach startup Bridg. The four year old startup recently raised Series A funding to provide customer lifecycle management to America’s leading retail and restaurant chains.
