WHERE, Constant Contact Partner to Drive Daily Deals

Constant Contact and WHERE are teaming up to deliver a novel solution to help merchants drive local commerce. Hey, why should they be left out of the geolocation deals bonanza?

The integration will allow small business owners to create daily deals through WHERE and market them to their current customers through Constant Contact’s email marketing tool, as well as to WHERE’s 50 million mobile consumers. WHERE merchants can also add Constant Contact’s “join my mailing list” (JMML) button to their listings.

As for Constant Contact’s customers, they can utilize the WHERE platform to deliver deals to their existing customers, while reaching new ones through WHERE’s location-based mobile advertising. To boot, WHERE’s recent acquisition of LocalGinger.com, a pioneer in the local group buying category, gives merchants interested in group buying deals a massive platform to help drive foot traffic.

“We deliver relevant, location-based content, deals and discounts to more than 50 million mobile consumers,” said Walt Doyle, President and Chief Executive Officer of WHERE. “This partnership with Constant Contact puts us in the unique position to significantly help small businesses drive commerce in real-time at a local level. Together we can help WHERE users easily sign up for newsletters and other mailing list-based communications from their favorite merchants, giving them up-to-the-minute information on local deals and promotions.”

The Constant Contact feature add-on is expected to be available by the end of the year. Constant Contact customers without a WHERE account can claim their page for free on WHERE at www.where.com/merchants.
