MULO Rises in Chicago on November 7th. WHY?

When Street Fight was first launched, its live gatherings in NYC and LA were (almost) as cool as the Met Gala or the Oscars.

Management changes and the pandemic meant in-person experiences were on hold for a while.

The digital magazine was alive and well, but our readers consumed our content from the solitude of their homes and offices.

But now, professionals—brands, agencies, and tech companies—are telling us they want to meet again in person with other MULO (multi-location) brands.

So, welcome to the Street Fight LIVE Summit — a reimagined version of the original experience. Although much will be familiar, we’re tailoring the agenda, speakers, and activities to meet the needs of today’s multi-location brick-and-mortar retailers, service businesses, and restaurants.

What’s most interesting is that the lines between those types of businesses have blurred. We now see pickleball courts and gyms inside shopping malls, fashion inside restaurants, and new franchises sprouting up and being bought by PE firms and celebrities. Loyalty apps, hyper-local social campaigns, influencers, and personalized OOH are a natural part of the marketing mix. AI-powered proptech apps help operators choose their next location.

New business categories and concepts are emerging. Founders are people of all ages, stages, passions, and business models.

Above all, the consumer “Street Fight” is being played out on the small screen. When people search “pizza,” they are presented with an array of options and have to factor in distance, reviews, product variations (like gluten-free), and the appeal of photos and UGC (user-generated content) into their decision-making.

The Street Fight LIVE Summit is a curated think tank. Only 200 curated professionals will attend on November 7th at Meta’s Chicago headquarters. You can be one of them. (You won’t even need an evening gown!)
