Basis Announces Chief Strategy Officer
Basis Technologies named inMobi and Quantcast vet Jeff Coon chief strategy officer.
At Basis, Coon will lead the evaluation and nurturing of investments that can support long-term growth. He brings more than two decades of experience in building strategy and orchestrating alliances in the software and ad industries.
Prior to Basis, Coon was managing director at investment bank Progress Partners, where he collaborated with digital ad enterprises and advised on strategy, funding, and mergers and acquisitions. He also previously served as VP of strategy and global alliances at InMobi and head of biz dev at Quantcast, which he joined following its acquisition of the company he founded, MakeGood Software.
Emodo Appoints Head of Global Innovation
Emodo (Ericsson’s mobile adtech business) has announced 27-year industry vet and Director of Innovation, Jeremy Lockhorn, as their new VP, Head of Global Innovation.
In his new role, Lockhorn will lead Emodo’s global efforts in advertising product innovation, in addition to accelerating both internal and external innovation to support the company’s growth.
Acceleration Partners Appoints CMO
Acceleration Partners, a global partnership marketing agency, announced the company’s current vice president of marketing, Sarah Esteverena, has been named chief marketing officer.
In her new role, Esteverena will leverage her deep experience in B2B technology marketing and global account management to lead Acceleration Partners’ worldwide marketing strategy and expansion efforts.
Redpoint Global Hires CISO
Redpoint Global announced Ron Sanderson as chief information security officer. One of Redpoint’s earliest employees, Sanderson has taken a leadership role in Redpoint’s security and privacy initiatives, including spearheading SOC 2 compliance and HIPAA certification.
In his role as CISO, Sanderson will strengthen Redpoint’s security and privacy approach as the company offers cloud-native offerings to some of the world’s leading retailers, healthcare organizations, and financial institutions.
