Main Street Hub Hires COO
Main Street Hub recently welcomed Jeff Mosler as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he oversees all customer operations, including content, onboarding, and customer success. Main Street Hub closed a $27m round of debt financing at the beginning of 2017 and has raised $46m to date. Mosler joins Main Street Hub from HomeAway, where he served as Chief Services Officer. While there, he helped the company grow its business six-fold and scale from pre-IPO to IPO, and eventually, through the acquisition by Expedia. Prior to HomeAway, Jeff spent over a decade as an operations leader at Amazon and Microsoft.
Placed SVP Hire
Chad Hickey has departed GroundTruth (formerly xAd) to join Placed after five years in senior level roles at the company. Hickey joins Placed as SVP of Sales. Hickey held several roles at GroundTruth such as Head of North America, Head of Sales, and most recently Chief Revenue Officer. Placed – the location-based analytics and ad measurement company — was recently acquired by Snap for $125m.
LMA Hires Its First Chief Content Officer
The Local Media Association (LMA) — which serves more than 3,000 newspapers, TV stations, digital news sites, radio stations, and research & development partners – has hired David Arkin as Chief Content Officer. Arkin was most recently Chief Content Officer of Community Impact Newspaper where he led content initiatives for 22 hyperlocal newspapers. Prior to Community Impact Newspaper he was Senior Vice President for Product & Development for GateHouse Media.
MatchCraft Exec Heads to Apptus Technologies
European technology sales leader Joe Schultz has rejoined Apptus Technologies as Manager of Global Partnerships. Apptus provides AI-powered merchandising and on-site optimisation for online retailers. He will manage new and existing relationships for Apptus with System Integrators, eCommerce platforms and third party technology vendors. Prior to Apptus, Joe was Vice President of EMEA at MatchCraft for five years, and he continues to work with Matchcraft on a part-time basis.
SalesFuel Hires Two As Company Grows
Audrey Strong joined SalesFuel, as Manager of Media and Channel Relations. Strong has an award-winning career in both television news as a journalist and in public relations. She will continue to maintain the public relations function of SalesFuel. She’ll also work with the CEO, Director of Marketing and SVP of Sales to initiate, establish, manage and develop strategic channel partner relationships for the company.
Shawn Garrett also joins as the company as Talent Development Manager. Garrett has extensive training and instructional design experience and is well-versed on talent management and professional coaching.
Promotion At Camilyo
Sales leader Danny Hen was promoted to Vice President of Sales at Camilyo. Hen has worked at Camilyo for over four years. His roles include Director of Sales and Director of Partnerships before the promotion. Camilyo helps local businesses with websites and digital presence with automated tool and solutions.
