Advertising veteran, Eric Picard, has joined Pandora as VP of product management. Picard is an entrepreneur who sold his company Rare Crowds to MediaMath in 2014. He stayed on at MediaMath for the past two-and-a-half years in senior partnership roles. The hire by Pandora is strategic as the company is looking to build out and enhance its advertising products. Additionally, rumors have circled about the publicly traded company being acquired. No official news yet but a number of companies including Apple or Amazon could make a good home for Pandora if the company chooses to go that route.

COO Appointed at DialogTech
Doug Kofoid is joining DialogTech as their Chief Operating Officer. DialogTech has raised over $76m in venture capital and provides the platform for end-to-end call attribution and conversion data. Prior to DialogTech, Kofoid spent 15 years in multiple roles at Publicis Media and Google / DoubleClick. DialogTech is in hiring mode with recent hires from companies like, Performics, Kenshoo, Marin, and 360i.

Leadership Hire at Branded Entertainment Network
Branded Entertainment Network (BEN) Group has appointed, Tamra Knepfer as its new SVP of Greenlight, a division of BEN Group and the global leader in rights representation and music clearances. Knepfer brings over 20 years of experience in consumer product licensing, marketing and business development. Prior to joining BEN, Knepfer ran a licensing and marketing agency, TK Brand Group, and co-launched Knockout Licensing, an agency for high profile properties and winner of multiple LIMA International Licensing Awards.

Urgent.ly Hires Three Execs
Urgent.ly has hired three new executives to grow and lead the company. The company raised a $7m Series A in September 2015.

Alan Holman is joining as Vice President of Sales. Holman brings more than 10 years of experience at organizations such as Vice President of Business Development at Allstate Roadside Services and Regional VP of Sales at GE Partnership Marketing Group/Roadside Assistance Division.

Bill Maddox is joining as new National Service Director. Maddox will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s national service network of over 50,000 independent roadside assistance professionals. With over 25 years of experience in service network and operations management. Most recently he was the Director of Engagement at Collaborative Solutions and prior to that post he was VP of Human Resources at Asurion.

Joe Ryan is joining as an independent director on Urgent.ly’s board. An advisor to several technology and consumer-facing start-ups, Ryan has deep experience in the service industry with over 20 years as general counsel for Marriott International and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.  He was also a partner at Venable L.L.P. and O’Melveny & Myers L.L.P.  Ryan is currently Chairman & CEO of Ryan Investments.

Product Leader at comScore Joins Kantar Media
Kantar Media has hired Manish Bhatia as CEO of North America. Bhatia is an experienced executive who held various leadership — chief revenue officer and chief product officer — roles at comScore. Prior to comScore, Bhatia was an EVP at Nielsen and CEO at Symphony Advanced Media.

Internal Promotion at Search Influence
Search Influence has promoted Paula Keller French to Director of Sales and Marketing from her previous role as Director of Account Management. French has been with the local Internet marketing company since 2009. While there, she held roles ranging from Junior Associate to Account Manager. Search Influence was founded in 2006 and has been featured five times on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
