With the rise of Oculus and a host of other new companies, there has been lots of talk this year about the potential local and retail implications for virtual reality and augmented reality.

At Street Fight Summit West in San Francisco earlier this month, a panel examined how brands and retailers see the VR/AR opportunity, and looked at where we’re most likely to see them placing bets on this tech in the near future.  The panel was moderated by Aisle411’s Nathan Pettyjohn, who also serves as president of the VR/AR Association — he spoke with Carter Agar, the ‎director of worldwide software & cloud services at Lenovo, and Jon Vaden, ‎the business development director at San Jose International Airport.
