Street Fight’s charter is to bring you news and insights on local media, marketing, and commerce. A key corollary to that mission is to recognize and award the innovators driving these sectors. So, we’ve brought back a Street Fight staple with a new twist: The Street Fight Innovator Awards.

Applications have been open for the past month and will run through this coming Friday, July 26. So, get your applications in if you haven’t already. Meanwhile, we’re excited to announce the latest milestone in the awards process: the first round of all-star judges.

Listed below (including links with more background), each judge was selected because he or she is a recognized innovator in local marketing. The rest of the judges, including representatives from the Street Fight editorial team, will be announced soon to round out the full panel.

Dave Elliott – SVP Marketing, True Value
Andrew Laudauto – EVP & CTO, Vitamin Shoppe
Gwen Morrison – Co-CEO The Store / WPP
Jason Breazeale – Architecture and Technology Innovation, Dennys

We’re excited to continue the process and acknowledge champions and innovators driving success in local media, advertising, and commerce. Contact us with questions and stay tuned for more. Meanwhile, further details, award categories, contest rules, and application forms are here.
