Online reviews are one of the hot trends in local, reshaping how brick-and-mortar businesses stand out when trying to attract nearby customers. Tapping into the local Zeitgeist in a different use case, TruRating and GK Software are integrating their tech to allow businesses to garner feedback from their customers at the point of sale.

TruRating, which specializes in customer insights for the retail and hospitality industries, and GK Software, a software solution provider for those industries and others, are integrating their tech to release this latest solution. Participating businesses will be able to ask customers a single vital question at checkout. The solution is designed to yield a rare 88% response rate from the customer, producing insights with a regularity that businesses typically struggle to achieve.

The solution also asks different questions based on the customer’s profile: whether they use a loyalty card, for example, and what kind of products they purchase in the given transaction. It’s customer feedback for a smarter age of business insights.

“The possibilities of Dynamic Questions are vast, and we’re delighted to be showcasing it with GK Software at NRF,” said Georgina Nelson, TruRating CEO. “Their leadership and experience in the field of retail software, AI, and in-store solutions is renowned, which makes them an ideal partner for us to bring retailers access to never-before possible customer experience insights.”
