Global enterprise marketing solution provider Cheetah Digital has acquired loyalty tech firm Stellar Loyalty, the two companies announced Monday.

Specializing in cross-channel solutions, Cheetah Digital counts among its partners such brands as Williams-Sonoma, American Express, and Hilton. Stellar, which maintains offices across the world, offers a big, first-party data-based loyalty solution designed to help brands engage customers and bolster sales.

The acquisition combines a comprehensive suite of digital marketing tools from Cheetah Digital with the loyalty expertise and huge repository of data commanded by Stellar, according to the release, allowing the pair to provide brands with a more powerful, all-in-one B2C marketing platform.

As part of the deal, Peter Lim, CTO & Co-Founder of Stellar Loyalty, will join Cheetah Digital as SVP of Engineering, Innovation. Lim will continue to manage much of Stellar’s operations within their new home at Cheetah.

“The combination of Stellar Loyalty products and their talented team will allow Cheetah Digital to offer our clients the most advanced and intuitive loyalty, customer acquisition and retention solution in the industry,” said Sameer Kazi, Cheetah Digital CEO, in the release.
