SITO Appoints Head of Marketing

Pinterest Hires First COO

Francoise Brougher, a former executive at Google and Square, has been hired as Chief Operating Officer at Pinterest. Prior to Pinterest, Brougher was the Global Business Lead at Square and VP of SMB Global Sales at Google. Pinterest has raised $1.5b in venture capital. The company planned to IPO in 2018 but delayed its IPO until 2019 due to missed revenue numbers. The hire of Brougher seems strategic since the company needs to button up before a potential IPO.

Kofoid’s appointment comes after Irv Shapiro’s decision to transition from CEO to Executive Chairman. Kofoid spent over a year in the COO role before his new role. Prior to DialogTech, Kofoid spent 10 years at Publicis Media, which was acquired by Google. DialogTech has raised over $70m in venture capital since its founding in 2005.
