Tuesday, January 3: Flytrex Reins In $3 Million for Drone Delivery Solution
Armada VC as well as angel investors Daniel Gutenberg and Joey Low led the round, TechCrunch reported. Flytrex currently offers a cloud solution that can be used to manage drones. The company is developing its own drones as well.

Thursday, January 5: CloudCraze Lands $20 Million to Help Businesses with Digital Commerce
Insight Venture Partners led the round, VentureBeat reported. CloudCraze, which is built on the Salesforce platform and relies on the Salesforce cloud, will use the funding to accelerate product development and grow its staff.

Thursday, January 5: NG Data Closes $20 Million Round for Customer Experience Management Solution
Idinvest Partners led the Series B round, according to a press release. NG Data will put the capital toward product development and strengthening its sales and marketing teams.

Monday, January 9: CloudCar Picks Up $15 Million for Connected Car Cloud
Jaguar Land Rover supplied the funding, VentureBeat reported. CloudCar’s partnership with Jaguar will go beyond funding: The car company intends to use CloudCar’s product for its own all-electric vehicles.

Tuesday, January 10: Choozle Secures $2.4 Million for Digital Marketing Platform
Great Oaks Venture Capital and other investors contributed to the round, Denver Business Journal reported. Choozle will use the fresh capital for expansion both within the United States and abroad.

Tuesday, January 10: Gravy Analytics Scores $7.7 Million for Location-Based Consumer Intelligence Platform
Spring Lake Equity Partners led the round, according to DC Inno. Gravy Analytics will put the funding toward maximizing its growth, which will involve expanding its managerial staff. Gravy provides clients such as Walmart, eBay, and Gannett with data on consumers’ attendance of events.

Wednesday, January 11: ezCater Rakes In $35 Million to Match Up Caterers and Local Businesses
Iconiq Capital led the round, Boston Business Journal reported. ezCater will use the funds to accelerate product development as well as boost its sales and marketing efforts.
