The annual Street Fight Summit New York kicks off next week on October 20th with a star-studded lineup of speakers. Here are just 11 of the many experts you won’t want to miss (click here to see a detailed agenda and buy tickets):

  1. Ted Leonsis is a co-founder and partner in the “speed-up capital” Revolution Growth Fund II, which currently has made investments in 12 companies, including Bigcommerce, Booker, RunKeeper, and sweetgreen. He’s also the founder, chairman, majority owner, and CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which owns and operates the Washington Capitals (NHL), Washington Wizards (NBA), Washington Mystics (WNBA), and Verizon Center in downtown Washington, D.C. And if that’s not impressive enough, Leonsis is a former co-CEO of Groupon and the current chair of that company’s board of directors.
  2. Dennis Crowley is co-founder and CEO of Foursquare and a pioneer in imagining ways to help people discover the world around them using data and social encouragement. He previously founded Dodgeball, one of the first mobile social services, which was acquired by Google in 2005. Foursquare has embarked on a number of exciting initiatives in the past year, from its “location cloud” to deeper integration with other apps. 3. Sharon Rowlands is the CEO of ReachLocal, an influential player in local online marketing since 2005, when it first offered small businesses the opportunity to advertise on search engines and directories. Rowlands, who previously served as the CEO of Altegrity, Penton Media, and Thomson Financial, joined ReachLocal in 2014. Street Fight recently interviewed Rowlands about about digital marketing’s “one-stop shop” mentality and how the industry is making things more complicated for business owners.
  4. Howard Lerman is the co-founder and CEO of Yext, a leader in digital location management software and solutions. The fast-growing company continues to add senior-level executives at an impressive clip. It recently broadened its suite of location-based targeting products with the launch of Xone, a beacon-based program for businesses to engage in-store consumers with relevant content.
  5. Pooja Khana is the CEO Americas at Zomato, the global restaurant search and discovery service that operates in 10,000 cities in 22 countries and which earlier this year raised a $50 million funding round. Before joining Zomato in 2011, Khana worked as a credit analyst at Standard Chartered Bank.
  6. Angus Davis is the founder and CEO of Swipely, which provides a payments-centric data analytics platform specifically aimed at restaurants. Before Swipely, Davis co-founded Tellme Networks, which Microsoft acquired in 2007 for an estimated $800 million.
  7. Chris Cunningham is the head of mobile and global brand partnerships at ironSource. He was founder and CEO of appssavvy and is an active investor in and advisor to a host of emerging technology companies. Cunningham recently spoke with Street Fight about the changes he’s seen in his 16 years in ad-tech and how location influences ironSource’s services.
  8. Jason Richelson is the founder and chief strategy officer at ShopKeep, which began life as POS software provider and now offers hardware, payments, marketing, and analytics to SMB customers. Before ShopKeep, Richelson co-founded gourmet food and wine business The Greene Grape. He spoke with Street Fight about ShopKeep’s move beyond the software space and how cloud computing is changing the playing field for small businesses.
  9. Steve Cheney is co-founder of Estimote, a company offering beacons and stickers compatible with both Apple’s iBeacon and Google’s Eddystone formats. Before Estimote, he served as vice president of business and platform for GroupMe, which Skype acquired in 2011 for $80 million. Cheney talked to Street Fight last month about the evolution of beacon technology and the trajectory of its adoption.
  10. Chris Spanos is co-founder and CEO of Urgent.ly, the on-demand roadside assistance provider. He was general manager of Repair.com and founder and CEO of SeniorChecked, acquired by Asurion in 2011. Spanos recently spoke with Street Fight about bringing technology to roadside assistance and ending AAA’s run as the dominant player in the industry.
  11. Satish Dharmaraj is managing director at Redpoint Ventures, a venture capital firm with investments in companies like Nextdoor, Vurb, Button, and HomeAway. Prior to Redpoint, he was CEO of Zimbra and vice president of messaging products at OpenWave. Last month, Street Fight spoke with Dharmaraj about emerging opportunities in the local landscape.
