Every two weeks, Search Influence’s Kelly Benish — who knows practically everyone in hyperlocal — covers some of the latest job changes taking place in this dynamic industry. (Plus, scroll down for jobs on offer now.)

Daryl McNutt  – Drawbridge
Drawbridge, the scientifically-based mobile ad workshop just announced the appointment of former BrightRoll SVP of marketing and research Daryl McNutt, to run all marketing efforts. McNutt also brings a little over 20 year’s worth of experience in database marketing and digital technology. CEO and founder Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan, confirmed that this was a great move for McNutt as the CEO mentioned McNutt’s expertise around performance, brand marketing, cross-device audience targeting.

Thomas R. Fox – Angie’s List
Angie’s List, one of the most well known consumer review providers in the U.S. recently hired Thomas R. Fox as its new CFO. He succeeds Charles Hundt, who held the interim CFO position since Robert R. Millard stepped down last April.  Fox was recently senior director of business planning and operations at Nokia. At Angie’s List public records indicate that he will receive a base salary of $300,000 and an annual bonus target of 50% of his base.

Jesus Gaytan – Local Corp.
Local media corporation Local Corp. announced the appointment of Jesus Gaytan as its new VP of product management. In this role, Gaytan will be responsible for leading the company’s product management and development initiatives, including the company’s focus on mobile and the expansion of products connected to its growing local shopping platform. Gaytan brings 14 years of product strategy experience and managing digital product portfolios for both Fortune 500 and start-up companies to the table.

Andrew Stinger – Bitnami
Andrew Stinger, formerly VP of Marketing at AppStack, has been scooped up by Bitnami to oversee marketing operations in their San Francisco office. After hearing more and more about the IT challenges facing SMBs, Andrew let me know that he couldn’t turn down the chance to help make it easier to deploy the applications that empower businesses to focus on what’s most important to them.

Sean Percival & Laurie Hironaka – Topix
Topix just announced that they have built out their executive team as they are seeing a consistent spike in traffic and revenue growth. To be exact, Topix saw a 40% traffic increase from 2011 to 2012 and continues to be profitable. Sean Percival (former CEO of Wittlebee and VP at MySpace) has been hired as VP of marketing and Laurie Hironaka has been promoted to VP of sales.

Stuart Sim- PlaceIQ
PlaceIQ’s staff has more than tripled since Q1 of 2013 and with a hefty round of recent funding, $6.7M Series B funding round (to be exact) PlaceIQ continues to add to its executive team. Sun Microsystems alumni and industry veteran Stuart Sim joins as SVP of technology and engineering. They’ve also brought on former director of marketing for eHow.com and RGM Group Yasmeen Coning as their new VP of marketing.

N.J. Crew – Amazon.com
Word on the street has it that Amazon is in the process of a top secret staffing project located in my motherland Avenel New Jersey. So what gives? Are they starting their very own fight club or set of their very own reality television show? (insert New ‘Joisey’ joke here you clever devil…and Avenel is exit 12 just to stop you right there…) The warehouse located on my native soil is actually said to be a warehouse to support their ‘AmazonFresh’ grocery delivery initiative. While this service is already launched in Seattle and parts of Los Angeles, the concept of bringing AmazonFresh to the NYC area (Avenel is 20 miles from the City) was slated for early 2014. The new initiative is also strongly supported by NJ governor Chris Christie.
