Joshua Scherman — Constant Contact
I met Joshua Scherman two years ago when he was VP of business development at Postling, a mass social posting and analytics tool for social networks and blog publishers. Joshua was recently hired on as business development manager for e-mail marketing company Constant Contact. Joshua thinks outside of the box and is a great fit to bring Constant Contact new revenues, conversations and ideas.
Dalip Tyagi — Bing
Sitting with Dalip Tyagi in the Bing booth at SMX had me wondering about two things: why isn’t Microsoft exhibiting at Street Fight Summit on October 30th and 31st and secondly, I can’t believe that Dalip has only been in his new role for two months. He has been with Microsoft since 2005 and has been promoted four times due to his impeccable support of client needs and development, most recently from global program management lead to the head of SMB agency strategy and marketing.
Shagun Vatsa — Facebook
I spoke with Shagun Vatsa three years ago when she was SEO manager for Dev Basu’s Canadian based online marketing firm Powered By Search and she is not only sharp but has a high understanding of the industry and various business models. Facebook recently saw the talent that she possesses and hired Shagun to focus on their media solutions.
Aaron Kronis — GigaSavvy
I caught up with Aaron Kronis at Pubcon this week, he made the leap from senior SEO analyst at Portent online marketing firm to SEO director at GigaSavvy , a brand-centric marketing offering mobile application creation. When he’s not busy with being the life of the party as a power networker, Aaron also consults for bands and big names through Stamina Records.
Sean Smyth — Groupon
Over at Groupon, Sean Smyth was recently promoted from VP of business development to VP of global product marketing and business development. I’ve got a foam finger with Sean’s name on it!
