PHOTOS: Street Fight Summit West 2012

Street Fight’s first West Coast conference brought together some of the very top minds in hyperlocal at San Francisco’s Bently Reserve on June 5th. The day-long intensive event took a close look at some of the most important issues affecting hyperlocal content, commerce and technology.

We recently posted a gallery of photos from the event on our Facebook page, featuring some of the more exciting moments from the stage, as well as the networking scene in the back rooms and at the evening cocktail party.   Below are a few of them — click here to see the entire gallery.

  1. Tell it like it is
    June 20, 2012

WHY does Street Fight continue to support Chris Tolles?

They clearly do not take one look deeper into the total mess Topix forums are, forums where hundreds of thousands of American lives And businesses are being slandered, harassed and harmed.

Real harm is happening on Topix and if Street Fight wants to continue to hide this, shame on them!

“Street Fight’s first West Coast conference brought together some of the
very top minds in hyperlocal at San Francisco’s Bently Reserve on June
    5th.”

The very top minds? Chris Tolles? The man is nothing less than a tyrant and a pervert whose corporate trolls use hacking and sexual harassment as company-supported methods on his forums.

This is the reason his forums are such a mess and so dangerous. He does not care if people are getting harmed on them, he encourages harm. He encourages Nazi-tactics on his forums.

The endorsement of Tolles by Street Fight is appalling, nothing less. Its more than that. Topix is a legal liability at this point, they are lawless and that means Street Fight is supporting lawlessness.

It is their duty to report on Topix and if Topix is providing the money to keep Street Fight going and this is why they do not, then they need to report on that first.  What is stopping them?
