Location-intelligence Platform Arrivalist Hires Two Execs
Robert Schmerler was hired as Vice President of Sales at Arrivalist. Schmerler previously built sales teams at The Huffington Post and AOL. Before joining Arrivalist, he was an advisor to Vivial. Arrivalist has raised $1m in capital since its founding in 2010.
Ktimene Axetell was appointed as Director of Destination Insights for Arrivalist. Axetell is an award-winning digital marketer with 17 years of experience at brands including Napster and Sony Pictures Digital and at agencies serving tech clients. Prior to her most recent post, she led digital strategy at Amelia Island CVB.
Chief Strategy Officer Appointment at Lotame
Lotame’s SVP and General Manager of Data Solutions, Jason Downie, was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining Lotame in 2010, Downie spent 10 years at Bain and Company, consulting for a range of companies in the Fortune 500. Lotame has raised over $61m in venture capital.
Leadership Hire at dataxu
Media veteran Gary Savoy has joined dataxu as Vice President of Media. Prior to dataxu, Savoy was the Vice President of Data Platforms at Comcast NBCUniversal. Savoy also held various executive roles in sales, product, strategy, operations, and consulting for companies including AT&T, Google, and EMC. dataxu was founded in 2007 and has raised over $81m in financing.
