March 27: Fastdata.io Locks Down $5 Million to Accelerate Real-Time Data Processing
CrossCut and Pelion Venture Partners led the round, VentureBeat reported. The funding will help Fastdata conquer the market for AI-backed data-processing solutions.

March 27: Kloudless Raises $6 Million to Connect Developers with Third-Party Tools
Aspect Ventures led the Series A round, TechCrunch reported. Kloudless facilitates a developer’s ability to connect her app to third parties in order to attain maximum usefulness. The funds will allow for product development, helping Kloudless build its ecosystem of software vendors and third-party services.

March 27: Intercom Rakes In $125 Million to Help Online Businesses Catch and Keep Customers
Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers led the round, VentureBeat reported. Intercom offers digital businesses a number of tools to attract and retain customers. The funding will be used to grow Intercom’s staff and improve its product.

March 28: Neighbor Scores $2.5 Million to Become the ‘Airbnb of Storage’
Peak Ventures and Pelion Ventures led the round of seed funding, according to Business Insider. Neighbor connects platform users who need a space to store their belongings so they don’t need to rely no expensive professional companies. The funding will help Neighbor expand its functionality.

March 30: Nift Secures $16.5 Million to Help Local Businesses Help Each Other
Spark Capital, Foundry Group, and Accomplice led the Series A round, TechCrunch reported. Nift provides local businesses gift cards that they can hand out to their best customers. These customers can then use the cards to obtain items from other local businesses. The idea is that good vibes all around mean good things for an area’s local shops. Nift will expand to five new markets with the fresh capital. 

April 3: Salesloft Snaps Up $50 Million to Facilitate Digital Sales
Insight Venture Partners led the Series C round, Atlanta Biz Journal reported. Salesloft helps digital enterprises looking for clients to stand apart by offering their buyers a streamlined experience. The funding injection will allow Salesloft to grow its staff by over 200.

April 5: Instacart Eats Up $150 Million to Remain King of Grocery Delivery
Coatue Management led the round, Bloomberg reported. This funding adds to a previous round, totaling about $350 million. The money will help Instacart try to maintain its top position in the grocery delivery space as Amazon mounts a challenge.
