Spectrio Appoints Former Google Exec as CEO

Dax Brady-Sheehan has joined Spectrio as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his role as CEO at Spectrio, Brady-Sheehan was Head of Traditional Media at Google for approximately two years. Before Google, he held several other leadership roles at media technology companies such as Vice President & General Manager at G/O Digital and Vice President of Operations at Hearst.

Apple Poaches Google SVP to Lead AI Efforts

John Giannandrea has left Google to join Apple to lead artificial intelligence and machine learning strategy there. Giannandrea will report directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook. Before joining Apple, he was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Google for over eight years.

New AI Chief at Google

Early Google employee Jeff Dean takes the helm of Google’s entire artificial intelligence business unit. Dean is a Google veteran, having spent almost 19 years at the company. His roles at Google have varied over the years, including co-founding Google Brain, Google’s deep learning artificial intelligence research team.
