Tuesday, May 9: Power Supply Rebrands as Territory and Secures $6.7 Million for Food Delivery
Upfront Ventures, NRV and Lewis & Clark Ventures, The Motley Fool Holdings, and others have invested in the company, TechCrunch reported. Territory has made a name for itself in the crowded food-delivery space by focusing on nutritious meals prepared by local chefs. With this latest round of funding, the company will offer carefully crafted meals at $13 a piece and pursue growth.

Friday, May 12: Lighthouse AI Raises $17 Million to Safeguarded Businesses and Homes
Eclipse Ventures led the round, which also saw participation from Playground Ventures, Silicon Angle reported. With the announcement of the round, Lighthouse AI debuted its eponymous product, an AI assistant capable of recognizing the bodies of people in a given environment and thus useful for security purposes.

Friday, May 12: Jinn Scores $10 Million for On-Demand Delivery
STE Capital, Samaipata Ventures, and others participated in the round, Business Insider reported. Jinn will use the funding to develop its presence in existing markets. The company employers couriers who deliver products from local restaurants and businesses to users.

Monday, May 15: Mintigo Takes in $10 Million, Leveraging AI to Help B2Bs Find Customers
Glilot Capital Partners led the round, Venturebeat reported. Mintigo collects data on a wide range of businesses and funnels that data into a platform that enterprise clients can use to identify potential customers. The company will use its funding to court clients on a global scale.

Tuesday, May 16: Cuebiq Rakes in Funding for Data Intelligence Platform
Balyasny Asset Management and Elevate Innovation Partners as well as existing investors contributed to the round, according to a press release. Cuebiq will use the funding to improve its product, an SaaS platform that helps brands and retailers harness location data to better court and understand customers.

Wednesday, May 17: Appear Here Locks Down $12 Million to Hook Up Retailers and Brands with Temporary Venues
Octopus Ventures led the Series B round, TechCrunch reported. Appear Here helps retailers and brands find pop-up spaces in which to set up shop. The company is in the midst of an international expansion across the United States and Western Europe. It has been used by over 80,000 brands.

Thursday, May 18: Social Native Closes $8 Million Round to Connect Brands with Social Content Creators
Softbank Capital participated in the round, VentureBeat reported. Social Native helps brands harness the energy of social media users who can create content advertising their products. The company will invest the funding in product development, sales, and marketing.
