CallRail Promotes Internal Leader
Mark Sullivan has been promoted to Director of Demand Generation at CallRail. He has been with the company since mid-2014 and was previously the company’s Director of Partnerships. Before joining CallRail, Sullivan ran his own startup and worked in different roles at Yodle. CallRail raised a $1.9m Series A round in January 2015.
GateHouse Planning a Slew of Sales Hires
GateHouse Media, which publishes of over 525 local news websites and over 600 local community publications, is planning to hire 100 additional digital-only sales reps across the U.S. The company recently redesigned all of its local news sites so that they can be hosted from a single platform. According to a release: “The redesign has already led to a 100% increase in ad viewability and coupled with GateHouse’s access to first-party data, has led to significantly improved ad engagement.” The new sales reps will focus on local, regional and national advertisers who are seeking to reach consumers across GateHouse’s markets.
Guarantee Digital Hires Veteran Digital Media Executive
Digital media veteran Greg Maibach has joined Guarantee Digital as Director of Partner Development. Maibach was most recently RVP with BuzzBoard and spent over 14 years with Advance Digital.
New Data Exec Named at IAB
IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) has hired tech executive Dennis Buchheim as SVP of Data & Ad Effectiveness. Buchheim has held senior roles in the tech and media industry since 2002 at organizations like Microsoft and Yahoo.
