Acquisio Hires Industry Veteran for Partnerships
Acquisio has hired industry veteran Bill Dinan as senior vice president of strategic partnerships. Dinan served as President of Telmetrics for six years and still sits on its Board of Advisors. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Local Search Association, a position he will maintain while working at Acquisio.
Leadership Change At Newsday
Newsday’s publisher Gordon McLeod has stepped down. McLeod was publisher for two years before stepping down and handing over co-managing responsibilities to Ed Bushey and Debby Krenek. Bushey has worked at Newsday since 1993 and Krenek has worked at Newsday since 2001. Netherlands-based telecom company Altice acquired Newsday’s parent company Cablevision in June. McLeod’s departure is the first of likely many in 2016.
Executive Hire At SproutLoud
SproutLoud has hired Sean Wisdom, Dell’s former global director of software marketing, as their vice president of strategy and channel marketing. Wisdom has held key marketing positions at AT&T and Verizon before joining the South Florida based digital media company.
Eyeview Adds CMO
NY based ROI video marketing startup, Eyeview, has hired Jeff Fagel as chief marketing officer. Fagel held several leadership positions including CMO at Cofactor and CMO at G/O Digital before joining the company. Prior to CMO roles, Jeff led marketing at edo Interactive, a venture-backed startup within the emerging payments space. Eyeview has raised $58m in venture capital since its founding in 2007.
Adform Gains APAC Executive
Sukesh Singh has joined European company, Adform, as vice president of Southeast Asia. Singh will be based in Adform’s Singapore office. Singh has 17 years of experience in advertising sales and business development in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Adform, Singh founded Conduit Consulting Pte Ltd., a strategic consulting firm focused in APAC. Adform has raised over $27m in venture capital
GroupM Ups MEC Digital Prez to Lead Digital Investment
Susan Schiekofer, a veteran of WPP and GroupM has been tapped as chief digital investment officer for GroupM in the U.S. She will be responsible for all digital implementation across GroupM agencies.
