Yext Brings on Several New Key Executives
Yext continues to see tremendous growth (before a possible IPO). The company has hired a slew of new executives to help lead different departments in the organization.

Bridgette Blake joins Yext as a Group VP for the Midwest Region and Head of Global Agency Development. She brings 20 years of marketing experience. Most recently, Blake was a senior director at Yahoo.

After five years at ReachLocal in a senior sales role, Brad Cohen has joined Yext as VP of Partner Sales. Cohen also worked for Yellow Book, indicating that Yext is beefing up its publisher team.

Yext is also ramping up its creative team with the hire of Owen Fegan as Creative Director. Fegan will also work closely with David Kaplan on Yext’s GeoMarketing business arm.

Yext picks up enterprise sales guru Lindsay Johnston from Salesforce. Johnston has 25 years of experience in technology and will lead the Southwest Region as Group VP.

Stephen Zangre leaves Facebook to join Yext as Group VP of the Northeast Region. Zangre has over 20 years of experience selling to Fortune 1000 companies and has held multiple positions in the digital field.

Acquisio Hires Local Marketing Expert as VP of Product
Sebastien Provencher, a well-regarded entrepreneur and local marketing expert, has joined Acquisio as VP of Product. Provencher has over 15 years of experience building products and leading teams. Most recently, he was a business consultant and advisor to technology companies.

ServiceTitan Brings on Head of Sales
The service management software startup ServiceTitan has hired former GrubHub sales manager Joseph Phillips to lead sales efforts. ServiceTitan announced an $18 million Series A funding in July and is experiencing rapid growth.

Industry Experts Join Local Media Foundation Board
Local Media Foundation has appointed three new members to its board of directors. The appointees include Eric Bright of Deseret Digital Media, Shannon Kinney of Dream Local Digital, and Jed Williams of Vendasta.

Mspark Loses Two Executives
The direct mail firm Mspark has lost two executives in the past few months. The company parted ways with CEO Richard Hanna and VP of Digital Solutions Mangesh Wadegaonkar. Mspark is privately owned and investors could be shaking up the company for a potential reorganization or sale.

Marchex Brings on CRO, Customer Engagement Specialist
Mobile ad analytics company Marchex has tapped Kenshoo and Oracle veteran Gary Nafus to be the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer. Meanwhile, Matt Muilenburg, who headed up international strategy and biz dev at CDK Global, has also come aboard as customer evangelist SVP.
