Every two weeks, Search Influence’s Kelly Benish — who knows practically everyone in hyperlocal — covers some of the latest job changes taking place in this dynamic industry. (Plus, scroll down for jobs on offer now.)

New Hires and Promotions – YP
Industry goliath YP recently announced that David Lebow has been named chief revenue officer. Whilst the role was created specifically for Lebow, as he will be charged with managing YP’s growth strategy for revenue. This week at the BIA/Kelsey conference in New Orleans, I was also fortunate enough to meet with Alexander Reynolds who was just named YP’s director of business development. He joins them from Peek.com he was in a similar role and Bain & Company where he was a senior consultant.

Nathalie Lallet – Google
As Google’s channel sales program manager for the last two years, Nathalie Lallet led the solutions selling initiative for channel partners and she was also responsible for new product development. She was recently promoted to global SMB sales lead for Google Partners where she will now be charged with spreading awareness of Google’s platform for advertising agencies, digital marketing professionals, and other online consultants. She will focus on the support for all partners which the platform offers.

Ed O’Keefe – EVO Media
Ed O’Keefe is super-jazzed about having recently become EVO Media’s CEO. The company’s private label enterprise online marketing platform is scaling internationally and in the U.S. O’Keefe returns to his hometown of Seattle after a 3.5 year stint of living and working in London. He had been there working with European Directories to push next-gen digital marketing products into their eight markets, in eight languages and supporting 5 currencies. Before he left for Europe, he was with Marchex and Telmetrics.

Mike Bidgoli – LivingSocial
Mike Bidgoli quietly left LivingSocial this summer as their VP of product and his first stop is directly in entrepreneur-ville. He posted a personal blog citing the top six lessons he learned during his time at LivingSocial and they were mostly about treating talented people right and getting rid of mediocre talent. One can only speculate as to why Bidgoli was citing these lessons but it’s important to know that he’s hiring engineers and designers for his next big idea which is currently in stealth mode. He gave zero details about the new company but hinted that he will let us all know real soon. Way to leave us hanging Bidgoli!

Gary Bramall – Hailo
Gary Bramall was recently brought in as Hailo’s global chief marketing officer. Hailo is attempting to rapidly extend its global reach within the mobile-demand transportation industry. Recently, Bramall worked for Microsoft as their senior global brand experience director. In that role, his responsibilities included strategy, branding and execution across all Microsoft Consumer Apps. Additionally, he has held senior global marketing roles at Skype, Apple and Orange, the telecommunication company.

George Dratelis – Cross-Post
Cross-Post LLC announced a key executive hire in newspaper industry veteran George M. Dratelis as their new director of business development. George will be focused on bringing their syndicated Careerpointe™ Recruitment Classifieds Platform to new and existing clients. George has worked in the online media industry since 1995 with executive positions in startup, technology vendors and newspaper companies. He’s also very proud of his Greek heritage and works as an online media consultant to the National Hellenic Society which operates the MyParea.com online community for Greek Americans. He also introduced me to the deliciousness that is Saganaki the last time I saw him, everyone do yourself a favor and go order some right now.
