Mike Montgomery – Placeable
Mike Montgomery is a staple of all that is hyperlocal, initially starting out in finance and energy he ended up finding his way to the interwebs. Mike had worked for Mapquest since 2010 pioneering their data distribution, B2B initiatives and growing their sales team. When Mike decided to leave his role as director of sales for Mapquest in August he jumped aboard the SS Placeable in a role by the same name. As Placeable’s director of sales, he will be promoting and selling their location-based enterprise marketing platform.
Tari Haro – SIM Partners
SIM Partners announced last week the appointment of Tari Haro as their CMO. In this role, Haro will be leading marketing operations and steering the company’s growth strategy as it continues to build out Velocity, its SaaS customer acquisition tool. SIM also announced it has moved its headquarters to 30 N. LaSalle, in the Chicago loop, to accommodate future growth as they are projected to double in size within the next year.
David Oliveira – Balihoo
Balihoo recently released an update on changes to their executive team, including a new CEO. David Oliveira, an industry veteran with 20+ years of experience under his belt will step into the role of CEO at Balihoo, effective immediately, while company founder and former CEO, Pete Gombert, will advise the company in his role as chairman of the board. David O’Neill has assumed the role of EVP of sales, leading the sales organization.
David Jaques – UBL
UBL Interactive, Inc. announced the appointment of David Jaques as the Company’s CFO. Effective September 2, 2014, Jaques, who has served as an independent member of UBL’s Board since 2010, will assume the day-to-day responsibility of the Company’s global financial operations, to include overseeing all SEC reporting and compliance, financial planning, general tax and accounting activities and capital management. He will also continue to serve as an executive member of the Board of Directors.
Sean Kidder – Surefire Social
Surefire Social, a local marketing technology and services provider announced Sean Kidder is joining the company’s management team as CTO. Sean is an experienced technology and operations executive with longstanding experience in scaling difficult technology challenges. Sean has a successful track record building technology solutions at Fortune 500 enterprises like AOL and Fannie Mae, as well as, mid-sized and start-up ventures. With over two decades of experience in technology and operations, Sean will lead the evolution of the company’s enterprise technology services, develop and integrate new products and guide the strategy for scaling SaaS operations.
