Every two weeks, Search Influence’s Kelly Benish — who knows practically everyone in hyperlocal — covers some of the latest job changes taking place in this dynamic industry. (Plus, scroll down for jobs on offer now.)

Ali Swerdlow – LiveIntent
Email ad server LiveIntent recently announced the executive hire of Ali Swerdlow. Ali will be LiveIntent’s inaugural VP of industry relations, a role that utilizes her leadership and diverse experience partnering with (ESPs) email service providers, (DMPs) data management providers and agencies. She will work with the one and only Steve McLaughlin, who is their VP of client services.

Stacey Sedbrook – BIA/Kelsey
Advisory firm BIA/Kelsey, announced that Stacey Sedbrook recently joined the firm as VP of strategic sales consulting. As a seasoned digital media and marketing sales executive, Sedbrook will lead BIA/Kelsey’s strategic sales consulting practice, advising media clients on overall sales strategy. She will provide clients specific assistance with assessment in some of the most prominent areas of digital marketing and the online marketing landscape in total.

Deep Nishar – Linkedin
LinkedIn’s Deep Nishar recently resigned after being the company’s head of product for six years. The business social networking giant basically said “we have nothing but love for you baby” with his transition coming about. Coming over from Google as their senior director of products, Nishar made it to LinkedIn and transformed the product. Recently he’s been joining company boards like it’s going out of style. There are no distinct mentions as to where Nishar will end up, however, he left a cryptic message alluding to future plans saying ‘A new adventure awaits. More on that soon.

Rick Gouveia – ElasticBox
Rick Gouveia joins the ElasticBox team from EMC2 where he was a top senior sales executive who helped drive 400 percent product growth in 2013. Before EMC2, Gouveia’s innovative sales approach drove Data Domain’s product growth from $16 million to $4 billion in sales over six years, leading to the company’s acquisition by EMC2 in 2009. There’s no doubt about it, Gouveia knows how to grow and scale a sales organization.

Richard Sloop – Convergent Mobile
Convergent Mobile directors recently brought on Richard C. Sloop as chief development officer just two days ago. He’s  been working with Convergent Mobile as an executive consultant since earlier  this year. Sloop will be responsible for marketing, product direction,  and business development, as well as facilitating  the strategic corporate expansion of the company. Convergent Mobile, is a leading mobile technology and text communication platform for business. The company has an aggressive expansion of SMS / text based product offerings for business for the rest of the year.

Jennifer Shone – Affinity Express
My buddy Jennifer Berk Shone just got picked up by Affinity Express as their director of sales after almost two years as Dream Local Digital’s business development manager. Jen has a contagious personality and a hearty laugh. She is quite memorable and brings people in with her energy and has an amazing zest for life. Now that she is at Affinity Express, she is working with some of my fan favorites including Patrick Mullen and Jason Luebke, her drive and spirited sense of humor will take them to the next level!
