As the weeks count down to Street Fight Summit West, the best networking event in hyperlocal to hit the Bay Area, we’re excited to bring you some updates on who’s speaking, who’s sponsoring, who’s attending, and what everyone will be talking about.

The event will take place on June 5th at the Bently Reserve, an amazing old bank building that is the former home of the Federal Reserve of San Francisco and sits directly across from the Embarcadero Center on Battery Street.

SPEAKERS
Our program has just been posted! Get the full low-down on the topics, speakers and flow of the day. Be sure to arrive at 8 a.m. for registration and breakfast-time networking before the program begins at 8:40 a.m. with a brief hello from yours truly.

Tristan Walker

Foursquare’s Tristan Walker is our keynote, kicking off the day with insights into the future of location-based services’ business models.

Amber Case

The day will run a mix of panels, presentations, keynotes, demos and TED-like talks about the big ideas in hyperlocal. In fact, one speaker, Amber Case, CEO of location-tech platform Geoloqi, is also an erstwhile “cyborg anthropologist” who appeared on stage at TEDWomen in 2010 (watch here). Her talk at Street Fight Summit West promises to be just as engaging.

Other speakers include Closely’s Perry Evans, Circa’s David Cohn, Yelp’s Mike Ghaffary, LevelUp’s Christina Dorobek, Placecast’s Anne Benzacon, Group Commerce’s Jonty Kelt, AOL Local’s Mark Josephson, and many more.

TOPICS
The focus of the day will be the evolution taking place in content and commerce; the tech powering location-based platforms; and the innovations and disruptions happening in customer loyalty, daily deals and business listings — as well as the best new ideas for  leveraging mobile to achieve marketers’ goals and audiences’ interest.

You’ll also get an update on all of the M&A activity in the hyperlocal sector from Architect Partners, which recently looked specifically at local commerce through this lens for Street Fight.

NEW RESEARCH
Plus, we’re excited to be debuting new research on local consumer behavior that you don’t want to miss, as well as a sneak-peek into the new Handbook for Hyperlocal Publishers that we’ll be releasing in mid-June.

WHO’S COMING
And who will be there? Hyperlocal publishers, location-tech execs, daily deals companies, plus others in the hyperlocal ecosystem: brand marketers, advertising professionals, media companies, mapping developers and more. This is your chance for great networking throughout the hyperlocal industry to hash through the best ideas and form the partnerships that will build lasting success.

SPONSORS
We’re also thrilled that Street Fight Summit 2011 sponsor Patch returns as a Bronze sponsor, joined by Silver sponsor Yext, Bronze DataSphere and presentation sponsor Bundle.com. Another Silver and a household-name Gold sponsor to be announced shortly. There are still a few sponsorship spots left for others that want to get a share of voice at the event.

It goes without saying we’ll cap the day with a full-bar cocktail reception until 7pm. Be sure to get your ticket now, before prices go up on May 21! Click here to reserve your spot.
